I have a nasty cold today so the boys and I are doing nothing. 

Working on a blanket that will be super warm and fuzzy. 

I can't remember if I put this on the previous post but I made this pillow for Travis for Christmas! I gave it as a joke but Travis actually really likes it! 

Yesterday Sammi came over and went to the store with us and then snuggled with the boys. She's great!

It's almost the end of the year. God has blessed our family abundantly this year. Truman's arrival, Travis's 2nd job, Walter's 2nd birthday and numerous ways He's provided for our family just to name a few. I'm excited about the next year and I pray for ways to be a better follower of Christ, a mother and wife. 

Christmas Craziness

This Christmas was a crazy one and yesterday we crashed hard. Running around with kids during the holidays is pretty exhausting then add people constantly feeding your 2 year old sugar and you're leaning toward a complete meltdown (which happened a couple times). Today is Monday and I'm still recovering especially the house. 

But with all that said we had a wonderful holiday! We spent a lot time with Travis's family and my family and ate a lot of delicious food. 

I over did it on the cookies.

 

I wish I could have gotten more photos on Christmas Eve but it was a bit busy. Duann came over for dinner then we went to church for the Christmas Eve service (which was great!) and then back to the house for desserts and presents. 

It was Truman's first Christmas! Yay! 

Here is Walter covering up with a rug. And in case you were wondering what was on the rug well, it's salt. The day before Walter decided to dump salt all over his room, the dining room and kitchen. I need to vacuum that rug. 

We visited Travis's family Christmas Day and the whole family showed up so we got a group photo!

The day after Christmas we celebrated at my moms house. 

We played Pie in the Face! Hilarious! Here are some screen shots of a video my sister put up. I can't wait to play this again.

We had a lot of fun but like i said before we are tired! Now time to clean up!

I want a nap for Christmas

It's getting closer and closer to Christmas and I'm excited to see Walter enjoy the holiday! I'm ready for fun but then again I'm ready for a lonnngg nap.

This is the only photo I got of the middle school Christmas party. It was during an intense game of Christmas trivia. We always ask how the kids want to do the teams and most of the time they choose  B&G (biscuits and gravy also known as boys vs girls). It was a ton of fun and pretty funny. 

Walt tried to plug the baby monitor into the dresser! HA!

Gettin Stuff Done

We ran around a bit today and I got to use my double strolle! I didn't think I could use it until Truman got older but the back seat lays all the way down and it's perfect for him! He just laid back and loved it!

Travis and I buy each other only 4 presents for Christmas and this is one of Walter's. He's gonna love it!

I'm almost done Christmas shopping. Here's what's left:

Mother - fuzzy robe and slippers

Travis - 1 more gift on Amazon stocking stuffers

Duann - chocolates 

Walter - race car track and one more thing 

So close to being done. I hope this Christmas doesn't make us poor :| 

Tomorrow is the middle school Christmas party! It should be a lot of fun.

I feel like I was just writing about the middle school Halloween party! Time is flyin by, people. Eek! 

I'm gonna end this on a selfie because my bangs were cute the other day! Hah!
