Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving came and went and it was delightful. Travis got Thursday, Friday and Saturday off! Woohoo! It was great having him around. We did a lot of relaxing and just spending time as a little family. It was much needed. We ate a ton of leftovers, got a Christmas tree, did some window shopping and didn't clean anything (which was awesome but now I've got a huge mess on my hands!).

We also ate goat on Thanksgiving and it was delicious :)

I didn't take as many photos because I was just enjoying the moments but I did get a few.

I need to clean but I don't wanna :(((

I'm so thankful for all the God has given us. I'm even more thankful for Jesus dying for us so that we can be saved! How wonderful and overwhelming it is to know that He loves us more than we can understand! Praise the Kings of Kings!

The day before Tgiving

My last post was about how I was doing nothing and today I'm doing a lot more. Tonight we're having thanksgiving dinner with Travis's grandma here and tomorrow (actual Thanksgivig day) we're going to my sister Abby's house that's 40 minutes away. Then Saturday we head out to the country to visit Travis's other grandparents.

Here is what I have to make:
Broccoli salad (done)
2 loaves of bread (1 of 2 done)
Dressing (prepped but not completed)
Cranberry sauce (done)
Corn on the cob (requested by Travis)
Apple crisp
Chocolate peanut butter pie (done)
Broccoli rice casserole
Slow cooker creamed corn
Peanut butter fudge

I think that's all. I should probably get back to work cooking instead of blogging. A nap sounds pretty awesome though.

Took some photos for my etsy shop!

This was just for fun 😍

Found a collection of Walt's socks between his bed and the wall. He hates wearing socks.

One loaf down.

This. Yup.

Have an awesome holiday!!

Glued to the Couch

I really did have every intention to jump out of bed this morning and get going on the chores and prep for Thanksgiving on Thursday BUT instead I made a hat and cuddled with my boys. Which was awesome but now that Walter and Truman are napping I feel like I dropped the ball. I have 0 motivation right now. Maybe one more cup of coffee and an episode of Project Runway will help... Probably not.

Oh well. There's always tomorrow ;)

This week's menu:

I really really need to do my hair! Maybe this evening?? Like I need another thing added to my list eekk.

Last night some of Travis's friends came over and watch WWE (wrestling).

The hat I made from the back:

Must. Get. Off. Couch. And. Clean......

Craft Day 2k15

We had a craft day today at my sister Abby's house! In case you didn't know I love crafting things.

Lexi came in town as a surprise! That was pretty fun!

My mother posing with her wine.

Our crafts!

Sunny (new nickname for Truman) :)

This was such a cute photo opp until Walter changed his mind. I still love it!

Super busy day means I'm super tired. Goodnight!

11.20.15

Foods I've made these past couple days.

Our daily selfie

Walter "snuggling" with Truman.

Floating head.

Getting closer to posting and *hopefully* selling some stuff.

He most definitely is Travis's son. Ugh.

Sweet boy!

My hand mixer went crazy and broken the beaters. I glad I was done with it.

My dad had a heart cath put in yesterday. He's doing well and will be going home today. He's also getting some medication changed to help with his heart. I'm thankful he's doing better.

Tonight we're going out to eat! We don't get to do this very often so I'm excited!

Sister Time

I don't know if I mentioned this before but I have 7 siblings. Five sisters and two brothers. I will list them below:

Bryan (Bub) 39
Laura 38
Ciara 31
Abby 24
Lexi 23
Sammi 19
Ian 17

Yesterday I got to spend time with two of my sisters, Abby and Sammi. They are very helpful and have stepped in on several occasions to watch the boys or help me out with errands. We also have a lot of fun together!

Also they both like to crochet! Yessss!!

They can get on my nerves sometimes but I'll always love them to pieces.

Oh yeah! Monday night I made some cheese. It was a simple cheese and very mild in flavor but I really like it!

Lil T (not in focus but still adorable):

That's that! Today I'm hoping to work on my crochet stuff so I can "open up shop" right after Thanksgiving.

Before I end here's some bathroom humor for ya (get it??):
